Do Royal Caribbean Group brands provide accommodations while I am onboard? Our brands provide accommodations for all shipboard employees. Depending on your position you may share your cabin with a fellow crew member. Because space is limited onboard, cabins and bathrooms are relatively small compared to land-based accommodations, but don’t worry there are plenty amenities for you to enjoy when you are off duty.
Cell phone service is available onboard; however, international roaming rates do apply. You may want to check the rates with your provider before using your cell phone. Yes, each ship has an internet café that is available to employees, with several computers that have internet access (fees apply).

Carnival Elation
Following the ship's career of almost four decades and more than 5 million miles that included service as a troop carrier in the Falklands War and a massive conversion from steam power to diesel, Cunard retired QE2 in 2008. After almost a decade out of public use, QE2 opened as a luxury hotel in Dubai in 2018. Today, the cruise ship -- most famous for American engineering -- rests in Philadelphia under the ownership and care of the SS United States Conservancy, awaiting a potential new life as a waterfront attraction and museum. Since 1967, the ship has been permanently moored in Long Beach, California, adjacent to the Carnival cruise terminal.

As she doesn't have any other ports nearby to add a non-American port to her itinerary, she is the only US-flagged NCL cruise ship. Norwegian Cruise Line's biggest ship is the Norwegian Encore with a gross tonnage of 169,116 GT. This Breakaway Plus-class ship has 20 decks, of which 16 are accessible to guests and a length of 333 meters. With its sister ship, the Norwegian Bliss, the Encore can accommodate the most amount of passengers with 4,903 if every available bed are occupied.The smallest Norwegian Cruise Line ship is the Norwegian Spirit with a gross tonnage of 75,904 GT.

The crew serves more than 6,000 passengers at maximum capacity, a record for passenger ships when Oasis made her maiden voyage in 2009. With a passenger capacity of just 16, the Xploration is Celebrity’s smallest ship.
